About Gloster Swing Dance:

Twice the UK Lindy Hop Championships in 2004/05 and 2005/06, husband and wife Gary and Sara Boon have been teaching The Lindy Hop and Swing dances for over 25 years.

They teach authentic original American Swing dance which is a partner dance and the original jive dance called Lindy Hop. You may have seen it featured on the BBC TV programmes ‘Strictly Dance Fever’ and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’!

As well as being two times UK lindy Hop Champions in 2004 and 2005 (a long time ago) they have also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and two Series’ of Sky TV’s Got To Dance where they reached the semi final stages.

They have changed many lives and taught 1000s of people to dance from the ages of 9 to 90+.

You will know their dancers – they are the smiling people. Their classes for beginners are fun and easy to learn. They teach on Tuesday evenings at Walls’ club in Gloucester with a new term starting in September.
